Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you stay in control.
1. What we collect
When you create a kuitt account we collect your email address and the information you choose to log — daily check-ins, mood entries, drink counts, and goal settings. We also collect basic usage data (page views, feature interactions) to improve the product. We do not collect sensitive personal information beyond what you explicitly provide.
2. How we use your data
Your data is used solely to provide and improve your kuitt experience. This includes generating your progress dashboard, powering AI companion responses, and sending you notifications you have opted into. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.
3. Data storage and security
All data is stored in encrypted form using industry-standard AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS in transit. We use Supabase as our database provider, which is SOC 2 Type II certified. Access to production data is restricted to essential personnel only.
4. Third-party services
We use a small number of third-party services to operate kuitt: Supabase (database), Groq (AI inference), and Vercel (hosting). Each provider is bound by a data processing agreement and may not use your data for their own purposes. We do not use advertising networks or data brokers.
5. Cookies
kuitt uses only essential cookies required to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can clear cookies at any time via your browser settings without losing your account data.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. You can export a full copy of your data from Settings → Data Export. To permanently delete your account and all associated data, go to Settings → Delete Account. For any other requests, email us at privacy@kuitt.com.
7. Children
kuitt is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us immediately at privacy@kuitt.com and we will remove the account.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you by email and display a notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of kuitt after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
