Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using kuitt. They set out your rights and responsibilities as a user.
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using kuitt in any way, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and anyone who accesses the platform.
2. Description of service
kuitt is a personal wellness application designed to help individuals track, reduce, or quit alcohol consumption. It is not a medical device, clinical treatment, or substitute for professional medical or psychological care. If you are dealing with alcohol dependency, please consult a qualified healthcare provider.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use kuitt. By using the service you represent that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users who misrepresent their age.
4. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@kuitt.com if you suspect unauthorised access. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorised use of your account.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use kuitt to: (a) violate any law or regulation; (b) harass, abuse, or harm another person; (c) upload viruses or malicious code; (d) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service; (e) scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the platform without our written permission.
6. User content
You retain ownership of the content you submit (journal entries, goal descriptions, etc.). By submitting content you grant kuitt a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process it solely to provide the service to you. We do not use your personal entries to train AI models or for any other purpose.
7. Subscription and billing
kuitt offers a free tier and optional paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at sign-up. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods except where required by applicable law.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. kuitt is a wellness tool, not a medical product. Always seek professional advice for health concerns.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, kuitt and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
11. Changes to terms
We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you by email and in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Your continued use of kuitt after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.
